Booked the “Duo” for two people. Consists of open plan bedroom / living / lounge upstairs with bathroom; and open plan living / dining with separate bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Initially taken to upstairs area and was really disappointed. Small area, small bathroom, kind of old and uninspired, especially for the price. Complained to host who showed us downstairs accommodation… it’s so much bigger and beautifully styled (the wardrobe I want at home), huge bathroom. I don’t know why they automatically place guests in upstairs area when downstairs is so much better. *pool: beautiful, perfect temperature, perfect chlorination level, surrounded by luscious greenery yet still gets plenty of sun. *pool area: lovely greenery and lighting, two very comfortable sun beds *kitchen: outdoors, FULLY EQUIPPED with all cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils you need (rare in Balinese villas), full size fridge with large freezer space, minibar with everything at very reasonable prices.They provide water through a filtration system which was fine. If in doubt, bring your own water. *living / dining area: spacious, comfortable furniture, beautiful and stylish finishes. *bedroom: big size, beautiful finishes, fantastic bed. *bathroom: big size, water pressure was fine. *Surrounding area: bit remote but good restaurants and convenience stores nearby. *information: host sent a detailed list of local restaurants via WhatsApp upon arrival which was much appreciated. *also, we arrived a bit early so the host kindly drove us to a local cafe and picked us up when the room was ready. *staff: the villa staff were just amazing. *breakfast: 10/10
