There's no getting away from the fact that this is an old hotel, getting a little tired, however that can be forgiven by the excellent team running it, and it's prime location. Stayed for 4 nights to do some video editing whilst on a motorbike tour, and fell in love with Semey. Huge choice of takeaways and restaurants immediate to the hotel. Great breakfasts and the Team helped me print out documents needed for upcoming border crossing It does provide exceptional value for money. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Very comfy room, clean, breakfast was simple but pleasant. Great location. It's an old soviet hotel. Great value for money.

Like the decor the soviet styled lobby eating area and large bedrooms. Giant bathroom on my suite sofa. Staff cooked food for me. I speak English they spoke Russian most straight forward conversation I have had. Just patiently worked through it. Was tasty
