We are Platinum with both Booking and Expedia and can state that Kambu Mara exceeded our expectations with their newly attached en suite bathrooms. Their location at Sekenani Gate, 10 mins drive) meant that we arrived in a rented 2WD vehicle. We will definitely stay again.

nice spacious tents with comfortable beds, very kind staff always happy to help with your request. Good coffee! In a quit area close to wildlife which you can hear at night (it is perfectly safe because of the electric fence) bushwalks are provided for a small charge. a bonfire at night gives the place a community feeling. Can highly recommend.

Very cosy camp, with excellent service. Food - breakfast, our packed lunch, and dinner - were delicious. Tents had ensuite shower and toilet. Common showers and toilets were very clean too. Beds were very comfortable. Laundry could be requested Lovely environment, you could see zebras while sitting by the tent and wilderbeest a little distance away. Location is very convenient for visit to Masaai Mara.

Absolutely Exceptional – A Highlight of Our Kenya Trip! We had an incredible stay at Kambu Mara Camp and honestly, I could not recommend it more. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful – they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The camp itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. We were even surprised with a free upgrade, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really added to the experience. A standout highlight for us was the food – hands down the best we had during our entire trip in Kenya! Chef Nelson is truly talented; every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. And of course, the view was simply spectacular – waking up to the sights and sounds of the Mara was something we’ll never forget. If you’re planning a trip to the Maasai Mara, don’t think twice about staying at Kambu Mara Camp. It’s an unforgettable experience in every way.
