The Lake House is a beautifull place. The drive there is a bid of a challenge, but worth the it. It is so tranquill and peacefull.

This is self-catering so breakfast is not included. We booked for 5 days and had a great time with my grandkids. They enjoyed canoeing on the river and walks and brought their bikes to explore and ride up and down the hill and in and around Sedgefield. The views from the top of the mountain are spectacular. There is a lot to do in Sedgefield and the beaches and rock pools are full of sea life. We brought our life jackets for the grandkids. The house has a great stoep and a nice braai area.

the view and privacy was awesome. the gas geyser and stove was great, especially when there's loadshedding.

It was the cutest cottage, in a beautiful setting. So peaceful and tranquil, and very comfortable. Loved all the decor and antiques. We will definitely be back in summer, so that we can enjoy the outside braai more, and spend time on the water.
