We had booked a nights stay before doing the C2C bike ride. The team at the Lion realised this and contacted me prior to arrival as they had a party/ band at the lion which might impact our stay. We were offered rooms at their sister hotel the Kellbank and our group moved there. We had a nice meal & peaceful, good nights sleep and a great stay at the Kellbank. Great customer service to notice our needs and move the group without fuss. The Kellbank was perfect for our stay and will book there again next year.

Nice comfortable bed , after all day hiking, was a pleasure take a hot shower and rest in the bed .

Close to the seaside and to get to Scafell pike. Room was clean and a decent size. Easy controls for the heating. Breakfast was a surprise bonus!
