The location is excellent and very peaceful, the amount of wildlife around is good. The cottage was very clean, modern and comfy.

The cottage has been recently refurbished to a very good standard. Set in a quiet location with easy access to the Wasdale, Eskdale and Ennerdale areas of the Lake District as well as some lovely beaches - particularly near Drigg. It is also only a short walk from the local pub which serves good ale and hearty meals. We liked the entrance hall with multiple hooks for hanging damp gear over a warm radiator and also some hooks in the porch for very wet gear which sometimes happens in these parts!

Excellent location for scafell pike, free parking, warm house, comfortable beds, stylish home and very clean! The house manager was helpful and friendly too.
