Meals are excellent. Ingredients are fresh and seasonal. Staff are responsive and gracious. Lounge facilities are comfy and elegant. Selection of snacks are delicious. A variety of instant food available for midnight snacks. Food choices prepared by Chef Ito was superb.

We loved our stay at Chalet Ivy Jozankei. The staffs were very attentive and friendly. They all spoke English and were nice enough to put two single beds together to make a king bed. Our meals were also nicely prepared and healthy , with a wide variety of ingredients. The scenery was beautiful and it was fine for us to do nothing and just stay in the hotel, watching it snow and sipping tea. The snack bar was a treat with local snacks! We will definitely be back. It was a nice retreat after a few days at the slopes and a very unforgettable experience.

The staff at the Osen hotel are friendly and helpful. It is very comfortable for a stay and has a view of the river as well.

Everything was perfect. The room was huge & the in-room onsen was a treat. The staff were polite & helpful, and the food was excellent.
