A little haven. Old Bali its best. Simple but comfortable rooms Super clean. Food was excellent coffee better than mist of the 5 star resorts. Staff were so kind and we left feeling like they were family. Loved how small it was, like staying on a friend’s villa with beautiful gardens. Warm pool. In a quiet area close to surf breaks.this part of Sanur is so much nicer than the hideously over developed Northern part now unless you like generic shopping Centre’s and traffic of course. Hotel is a short 10 min walk to beach and restaurants or a $2 taxi ride which are plentiful.

They accommodated us at short notice due to the volcano eruption and on arrival staff were accommodating and assisted us to our rooms. The manager was actively encouraging us to feedback on new food ideas for the menu - great to see they want the views of their customers. Pool size was good and very inviting!

To enter the hotel you need to go down steep and narrow stairs (see pictures). To exit the hotel you need take stairs up. So if you're coming with small children, strollers or have leg problem this is not the place for you! Wish I was warned / there needs to be a warning on booking.com about this. The beach is a solid 20 minutes by foot under the scorching sun. There are no shops/cafes around the hotel. At dinner only one person works at the kitchen, so orders take forever, my kids were already sleeping when the food came and the spaghetti bolonese was undercooked and unchewable.
