Our stay at La tortuga hostel was amazing! The staff was super kind and friendly, the room was comfortable, and the kitchen, varanda, and rooftop were all precioso. We loved the pool and the hammocks!

Had a lovely time at this hostel! Staff were so welcoming and friendly from the very start and really made me feel at home. Views from the bar are beautiful and there are hammocks everywhere. Amazing for the price!

Well located, friendly and helpful staff. Loved the scuba class offered by the personnel running the place! Unforgettable experience! The pool is so refreshing in the Taganga heat as well! Well worth it.

Mona and Said are amazing hosts and the best diving instructors I ever had. The hostel is great to learn diving, they are very professional but at the same time familiar. Not like one of the big diving schools where instructors come and go, Mona will really take time for you and share her joy of diving. It’s a great place to stay also if you don’t want to dive. The hostel is very chill, travelers hanging around with volunteers and locals, making BBQ in the evening or enjoying the roof Terrasse. And Taganga is very close to Santa Marta but has the plus of three very nice beaches and a much more relaxed atmosphere.
