The Beach is very nice and perfect for some days off and relaxing. All hostels are directly on the beach with possible sea view also from the rooms. Entrance to Tayrona is only 10 Minutes by bus/motorcycle. Paraiso has a nice sea view room, comfortable bed, with mosquito net, nicely decorated room. Hammock directly in front of the room (but it's not your personal one, so it can happen that someone sits directly in front of your window/bed). The breakfast place next door is nice as well, very friendly staff and good enough breakfast. Coffee super tasty, rest depends on personal taste. They change the food though when you stay longer. Be aware that none of the hostels there have kitchens/fridges, you always have to go out for food/drinks.

This hotel is literally a shed right next to the beach, like I mean less then 7 meters away. If your dont like small functional shed type places then this is not for you. I loved it as the hotel doesnt have a roof so you can hear the waves at night which is soo calming and relaxing words cannot express how soothing this is. I also loved that its along a bank of other hotels all more or less the same as this one. They also offer food and places to eat and drink so you have everything you within arms length. Apart from the non existent receptionist this place is idealic. Also brace yourself for a cold show trickling shower. It is by the beach after all,

We loved to be in front of the sea, the chilling, relaxed vibes of the place and personnel. The personnel was always friendly and helpful. We loved to work on the beach barefooted and every morning taking a bath in the beach and then in the river. We would go early to the river to see how a great variety of birds would meet there to catch fish from the river without disturbing the bathers. This sea smells like sea!!! We loved all the options of delicious restaurants around that area. The place was quiet.
