A very nice and cozy house in Sandy Bay — a quiet neighborhood that gives the same vibes as the historic Battery Point. It's walking distance from large grocery stores and a good base to explore the city — not really central, but still close. We really liked the house as it was — who wouldn't like a very comfy bed, a spacious and stylish living room, and an electric fireplace to keep you warm in the evening. But the most memorable thing for us was the hospitality. No spoilers (for future tenants), but the owners managed to really touch us without intruding or even meeting us in person. The most heartfelt and warm gesture! Exactly what you need in a new city. We are super grateful and can recommend the place to any single traveler or a couple visiting Hobart.
