The location was lively and incredibly central for walking everywhere. We had a front room that directly overlooked the main cafe street so it was noisy when we opened the window. It was a fun vibe. The room was simple and comfortable with all you need. No breakfast but cafes and bakeries closeby. Very friendly staff with advice on where to visit. Easy check in and out. Staff only there within certain time frames. Felt very secure in the building and area. Good lift access. Great value for money.

We were very impressed by this pension. It was excellent value especially for the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the amenities were great. The owner takes pride in the pension - everything has a homely but professional touch. The room was cosy but nicely furnished and decorated, with modern private bathroom and balcony onto the old street. The pension is located opposite the famous La Viña bar so it's very convenient for trying cheesecake at the end of a pintxos bar crawl. It is located in the old town - the area is lively and in the heart of the action (perhaps not for you if you're looking for peace and quiet - morning trash collections are very noisy but no fault of the pension just part of being in the city). Parking was easy at the underground Okendo parking and a discounted ticket can be purchased from the pension. It was a 15 minute walk away. A walk up Urgull (not far from the Pension) provides great views over the city, beach and bay. Hope to stay again.
