The fine print
The shared kitchen is available for use throughout the entire day, from 07:00 to 00:00.The front desk is available from 08:00 to 01:00.Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA), the payment must be made in US dollars, and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.

A great place to stay. The location is great, the kitchen is amazing and clean. The best part has to be the view of the mountain from the top terrace. They also did our laundry which was quick and came out very nice and clean! The resident cat was also adorable.

Great basic hostel, 5/10 min walk to the main town. Bathrooms always spotlessly clean, good shared kitchen and a really great social area with a view of the mountains. Very good value for money, no frills or luxuries but was perfect for what we needed it to be. Bed was comfy and warm. We booked it again for another night after our camper van adventure.

I stayed there only 1 night. The host was very kind and nice. Most people in Chile I met were genuinely nice people. The room I got was spacious with big beds and was great! The bathrooms were near by. I did not realise there was a kitchen (it is near the main door). They do provide laundry service at a decent price and they were so great at doing it same day as I was leaving the morning after. Location wise- San Pedro is a small town so you are not really in the hassle of the Main Street, but max 10 min away from it. I did want to rebook for my stay after but they were fully booked online.
