I stayed at the Ambergris Sunset Hotel for five nights. The hotel is located downtown on a small side street. So you can't hear the traffic from the main road. It has a small cafe, but it's only open in the morning. Across from the hotel, there's a restaurant where you can get very tasty food. I recommend the Loaded Potatoes. The rooms have air conditioning. It can be a bit louder or quieter depending on the room. There's also a small refrigerator for some cold drinks. All rooms are arranged around a small pool if you want to cool off from the hot weather. There's also a supermarket right near the hotel, which also has an ATM. You can also have your laundry done. Bicycles are available for exploring San Pedro. The Wi-Fi was stable the whole time. All in all, I can recommend the hotel if you're in San Pedro for a few days. It's not an all-inclusive luxury accommodation, but it's perfectly adequate.

Budget room near to heart of San Pedro and beach. A/C, Wi-Fi, mini fridge, ensuite bathroom provided. Ok for a few days if you can't find better.

Location very close to the international ferry terminal and all of the town shops and restaurants. Also, even though there is a restaurant and bar across the road, the music shuts off before 10pm. The pool is also nice to have, and the manager is helpful. Wifi and aircon are excellent and housekeeping cleaned daily. Although the room was shabby, it smelled fresh.
