This is my second visit of this town and this hotel. They both have for me a specific charm although they are not positioned in the touristy southern area of the island. I have enjoyed my staying here so much I have even prolonged it. Hotel rooms are well equipped, bright and spacious and nicely decorated. They offer splendid breakfast with many varieties, even gluten free. There is parking available either on the street in front of the hotel or in their garage. Hotel staff is very kind, genuine, friendly and helpful. I must especially mention two people: Jose, he has pristine and positive energy which is contiguous. He is also a great connoisseur of huge varieties of drinks. It is a delight to be in his company. And I also need to mention one of the owners señor Isaac. He is very kind, warm, caring, full of historical knowledge, passion and ideas how to improve their town. He is a true visionary. It was indeed a huge pleasure meeting him. I felt very welcome and have truly enjoyed my staying in the hotel. Will miss this town and its lovely open hearted people. Highly recommend, would definitely visit them again.

My room, on the second floor, had a nice view over a field of banana trees, the last buildings of the town and the mountain. Breakfast is varied and copious. You can also see the mountain from the swimming pool.

When you go to La Aldea, it is because you are not looking for mass-tourism hotel. So, yes, indeed, it is a very good place to stay. Rooms are clean, large and well equiped. The breakfast is just huge. Full of different products, many fresh ones. The free car park is usually enough (either in the -private- street, or underground) but it can be more challenging when the hotel is fully busy.
