Great area, I didn’t even know but it was on the same block as my favorite restaurant! The staff were lovely, the place was clean and the owner was so sweet. I ended up getting a private room for no extra charge and it worked out because my trip was during the first anniversary of my fathers death and the private space was appreciated!! Will come back again!!

I have lost count of how many times I have stayed here now: I always return when in San Jose. This place is really central and as cheap or cheaper than a dorm but for that you get a small, neat own room and access to so many bathrooms that I have never seen a queue! There's hot water, strong internet, good security and the place is a few blocks to the airport bus station in Merced and a few blocks to the 7-10 bus station towards Nicoya. A perfect stay every time. Thanks again guys!

I spent here 1 night after my flight. I didn't want to book anything expensive, since I knew I would arrive at midnight and head out the next morning. This hotel really served the purpose well. It was clean, comfortable, with walking distance to any bus station.

I have stayed several times here as it is very central, clean and safe, with lots of bathrooms and for the price of a dorm elsewhere, in this hotel you have your own room. I will book again next time I am in San Jose.
