Amazing breakfast, with many delicious options. The staff were very kind and concerned about ensuring our best experience. It was a 10-minute walk to good restaurants.

I had to book somewhere when my flight was delayed overnight. The hotel was located close enough to walk to the downtown but also felt to be in a safe area for when I was walking around by myself. There was also a supermarket across the road which was handy. I ate in the Japanese restaurant and it was nice, though the waiter was a bit pushy wanting a tip on top of the service charge -- maybe this is normal in the bigger hotels in Costa Rica, but I had not come across it before. The person responsible for arranging the transportation for all the people from my flight (Estephan I think was his name) was very helpful, charming, and efficient. Some of the staff on the front desk were helpful, others not so much so I think it depended who you got. The room was lovely and very clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast was nice and the coffee good.
