If you're looking for a truly authentic Tuscan experience nestled in the heart of the countryside then this charming "family-run" hotel is the perfect choice. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming where every guest is treated like family. Maria was wonderful and embraces all the guests with her warmth and shares her deep love of the area along with its history. Within the grounds you can find a small wine cellar and chapel both of which Maria is delighted to show curious guests. Adding to the sites historical allure a remarkable bronze statue dating back 300 years BC was discovered here and today can be found in the Archaeological museum in San Gimignano. This was a truly lovely place to stay.

The views are unbelievable. Our room was large, cool and very comfortable. The restaurant food is exceptional, good wines from their organic farm, all reasonably priced. There’s a large pool, with plenty of space and loungers. All the staff are wonderful, the owners are happy to chat, Bruno the Chef and Maria the Manager are efficient and pleased to serve you with their evening menu. A special mention to Annayola who helped us understand Italian every evening.
