Breakfast was strictly Italian - so no breakfast cereals. We sat round a big table in the farm with other guests, with a great choice of cakes and croissants, and tea/coffee. It's too far to walk into San Gimignano, and there's no bus, but the nearest town car-park is just 15 euro for up to 24 hours. Polveraia is a delightfully restful rural farmstead, producing olives, and red grapes for delicious wine.

Breakfast was great. Delicious coffee, croissants and bruschette. Daniela was nice but unfortunately she doesn't speak english but communication went smoothly. Typical views od Toscany!

It really is a house in the countryside. The owners not only host tourists, but also really do farming, which gives you the opportunity to feel the real life of Italian farmers. The house is located near the very popular medieval town of San Gimignano, which gives you the opportunity to combine a holiday in the countryside with sightseeing. We saw little of the owner, he was busy with work all the time and sometimes he smiled at us from afar, and the hostess was very welcoming and did everything to make our vacation great.
