The fine print
In addition to the total room and tax charges due upon arrival an additional authorization hold of $100 minimum and $200 maximum will be placed on your credit/debit card for incidental charges. The incidental hold will be released upon check-out after all charges have cleared and it may take up to 5-10 business days for such transaction to be reflected on your account.The Hotel Majestic provides limited valet parking service for a flat fee on a first-come first-served basis. Guests can have access to their vehicles between 07:00 - 00:00 (midnight) every day. Vehicles are stored in a secure parking garage located in a separate building across the street from the hotel. Contact the property for more details.All-you-can-eat American breakfast buffet served from Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 until 10:30. Sunday Brunch is similar food items, but not buffet style, and is served from 7:00 until 12:30. Room service menus remain the same for both weekday breakfast and Sunday brunch. The hotel was clean, quiet. Staff was pleasant and ever ready to help. It was very close to the places we wanted to visit. Took a long walk to Golden Gate Park, beautiful park. Loved it.

We absolutely loved the style of the property; it felt like a time warp and all elements of it were obviously treasured and the staff do their best to keep it that way. So nice to see a property like this as opposed to these modern / scandi type hotel rooms you get everywhere these days. The room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. Everything was clean. We had lots of nice bathroom products to use including dressing gowns as well. Breakfast was great, we enjoyed the selection that was available. Breakfast being included is always a nice touch at a hotel so you can fill yourself up for the day before you venture out. Every member of staff we spoke to were warm & friendly. The hotel was in a safe part of the city; away from the hustle & bustle but super easy to get anywhere via the very reliable buses of San Francisco.

The design of the room is great. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying in a corner room — it’s located at a road crossing and gets quite noisy in the morning. The breakfast is average, similar to what you find in most 2–3 star hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the cleaning team is excellent!
