Though the decor is slightly old, but it meets all basic level of hygiene and comfort. The housekeeping is meticulous and the hotel management is pretty responsive when we approached them to resolve issues in the rooms. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and the bathroom is clean.

We really enjoyed our week at Hotel Amari. The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were ideal. The shower was always hot no matter what time you need it. The TV worked. There was a little fridge to keep things cold. The location is perfect for most tourists. There was a good ice machine and vending machine. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Its very well located in San Francisco. You can hop on the cable car a block away, there are a few breakfast places around the corner.
