The hotel staff were really friendly… the reception area , cafe and bar area were really nice clean and bright , we checked in and went to our rooms, they were really small for American standards, no where to put big cases… the decor was dark and shutters on windows , the bed was comfy, there was a desk with a chair and 2 dining room chairs in the room ( not sure what these were for , the tv cabinet was oversized for the room And the bathroom was very small, shower was ok .. the room was clean but the carpet looked grubby… the bar area was really nice with great staff and the cafe was good … the best thing about this hotel was the location right next to the Alamo shops restaurants and a short walk to the river …

I travel yearly to San Antonio and the Crockett has become my to-go hotel since a couple of years ago. It's in the very heart of the Downtown area, it's comfortable, the staff really makes me feel at home.
