An amazing historic hotel in a phenomenal location right next to the Alamo and close the the river walk. The staff are helpful and the rooms are extremely comfortable.

Great hotel with so much history and character, and a great reputation for being haunted, although we didn’t see any ghosts lol. Friendly staff, we asked to check in early and they had our room ready for us with no hesitation. The room was also very comfortable but our room faced a building site and they wasn’t mentioned beforehand.

The location of the hotel is great and right next to the Alamo. However, whilst the communal areas of the hotel are lovely, our room was very small and could do with freshening up.The bathroom was particularly disappointing. I appreciate that it's an historic hotel but it can still feel traditional and fresh at the same time. The restaurant wasn't open for evening meals which was a shame. However, we ate in the Crockett hotel which is their sister hotel and the food and service was great. Overall, a nice location but a little disappointing.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Babe Ruth Suite, which was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Brilliant location and can’t wait to return.
