What we really loved was the owner - he was so incredibly kind, caring and genuinely happy to have us. We felt so welcomed and at home. The little garden in the centre of the property is very sweet and the opportunity to use the kitchens and sit outside for meals was wholeheartedly welcomed by us. The family that run this place are so kind and we wish them nothing but the best.

We enjoyed staying at Optimist and get familiar with local's day to day life. The owner - Iskandar was very hospitable and informative. He provided us useful information we used during our trip. Breakfast was really yummy and fresh. Sitting in the garden at evenings and having some fruits or tea was fantastic. If anybody looking for a basic accommodation with a reasonable price; possibly this is the best in Samarkand. .
