The apartment was very close to the centre, at walkable distance from the local bakery, minimarket, butchers, etc. Since it was so close to the centre it allowed us to go on frequent lovely walks during the day and evening. Even though it could be quite busy with cars, the flat was quiet enough and there wasn't a lot of noise. Everything was nice and clean at arrival and the appliances looked brand new. Enough kitchen utensils to prepare food daily. The internet connection was fast enough for my partner to be working remotely while I was also using the wifi. The host was very responsive and eager to help - also made sure we always had a parking spot available right in front of the apartment.

The apartment is clean and perfectly positioned right next to the main piazza. The bedroom is sat back from the balcony - it doesn’t have any windows in the bedroom, however I didn’t mind because it meant it was very quiet and dark at night. The kitchen/diner/bathroom are very bright and the balcony is great. I was greeted warmly by the whole family, which was a lovely introduction to Salemi.
