Up Up Up And Away “Superb”

Everything. Jerome was very attentive and helpful with advice. He also looked after us with enjoying and appetising breakfasts. An added bonus was that one of the guest house dogs knows the mountains very well and is always keen to explore them once again. Jerome is very happy to offer a "borrow my doggy" service to competent hill walkers who stay at the guest house. Fellow, that is the dog's name, even has a GPS tag on him, so that is a useful safety feature for those out walking with Fellow for the day. Fellow looks after himself, whilst keeping an eye on you at all times, and he is better at hiking, and even scrambling, than you will ever be. :-)

Warm welcome from Jerome, who pointed us to best local restaurants. Beautiful location atop Col du Cucheron. Minutes from St Pierre de Chartreuse. Great walking tracks nearby. Will come again.

We loved everything about Les ateliers du Cucheron! The location is amazing, the room was big and comfortable, the hosts very friendly and helpful, and the food was great!

This is a very special place. The owners have renovated the house at a very high standard: using very good materials and components and nicely arranged everything. You instantly feel home. A big library, a fantastic sound system, a jacuzzi and very good food made this visit positively memorable.
