Our host was occupied the night we arrived, so she could not greet us personally at the house. But she sent us excellent information in advance and it was no problem to find the house and once we located the key box in the dark (we arrived late at night and had no flashlights with us – mobile phone flash light to the rescue) getting into the house and making ourselves at home was very easy. The house is situated very close to the sea (nice beach of Saint Jean s/M), supermarket and restaurants in easy walking distance. But it is not directly at the coast – with one row of houses in between – which I consider a good point: This prevents the Atlantic gales from blowing you over in the garden, no sand storm in the Garden or coming into an open window. When we were there we had wind speed up to 40 km/h and even stronger gusts of wind... so we were very happy that the location is sheltered. Also it is located inside a holiday home neighbourhood which is protecting it from any pedestrian traffic or noise from the roads. It is a really quiet place to stay. The house is fully equipped – with the exception of a dish washer, that we did not miss – including a washing machine, cloth horse, excellent cabinet space for your clothing and possibility to hang your swimming gear to dry. A nice terrace enclosed in glass provides a sheltered place with an outdoors feeling – which was also excellent as we had 15°C with a lot of rain – but on that winter garden style terrace we could still enjoy being outside the house. All in all a very nice place to stay for us 4, with 3 king sized beds, so could also be used by e.g. a family of 6. On our beach one could even "catch" shells, and prepare them fresh from the sea... it cannot get much better than that.
