Clos 1906 was superb. We were a group of 8 and wanted a week of wining and dining without driving. St Emilion village was a 10 minute walk and the St Emilion rail station was a 5 minute walk. We could easily be in St Emilion for Lunch and Bordeaux for dinner. Eduard was an exceptional host and provided a delicious breakfast every morning. He also provided endless recommendations of places to eat and drink. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, with super comfortable beds There is a welcoming pool area with a view over the vineyards for an evening drink from the honestly bar - wines, beers and spirits If you arrive by car there were 5 places available inside. If I could I would give it 6 stars.
