Spacious property very close to St Albans Station ideal for the town centre or getting in to London. Parking also invaluable on this occasion as I had the car.

We are two friends, teachers and enthusiasts of English history who have long yearned to visit Hatfield Old and New Palaces and the Lion Oak in Hatfield Palace grounds where Elizabeth I received the news of her accession to the throne. We happened to find this modern, very clean, bright, flexible, well-maintained and well furnished one bedroom apartment accessible for St Alban’s, Hatfield and Harry Potter Experience facilities and places of architectural and historical interest. St Alban’s Cathedral is a 2 hour revelation that includes a free one hour tour. (Our guide was Mark, a knowledgeable, retired teacher who made our tour very memorable). The cathedral hosts masses for numerous denominations of the Christian faith on different days of each week. 👍🏼🙏 We were blessed to find a kind, friendly and helpful owner and husband who are very willing to answer any specific questions and provide information to make your stay special. We are already planning a return to this accommodation in the summer to complete the sights and shopping experiences in St Alban’s and visit “Harry Potter World” to soak up every magical opportunity offered! 🪄🦄🧙🏻♀️
