The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.This is a Kosher property. Please note that on Fridays and the first day of Jewish holidays, check-in is only possible until 15:00. On Saturdays and the final day of Jewish holidays, check-in is after 19:00.

We booked a large family room and were pleasantly surprised — it turned out to be a separate house with its own rooftop terrace! The terrace has cozy sofas and tables, and offers a beautiful view of the mountains. When we arrived, we realized we were running late for a wine tasting at Recanati. The staff quickly helped us arrange a taxi and even contacted the organizers so they would wait for us. That was very kind and much appreciated! Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit the spa with the hammam. The hotel grounds are very clean, and there's a small pond with colorful fish — a lovely touch. Highly recommended! We only stayed one night, and we wish it had been longer.

Safed is a holy place. Beautiful and full of dignity. The location of the hotel is perfect for starting walks in the City.

A perfect location to explore Tzefat. Rooms were comfortable, charming and a little quirky. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Outdoor space was ideal to relax and chill after walking around the old city.
