Cozy and great location, in the woods, though close to Saariselka. We could see the aurora from there. 100% recommend it!

Absolutely everything! Our stay was idyllic! The apartment was just like in the photos, it was nice and cosy, perfect for our family of 4. Check in was easy and smooth even though we arrived late at night. Check out was also easy, with clear instructions. There were 2 toboggans for our kids when we arrived, just lovely. They very much enjoyed it! We saw the aurora borealis (northern lights) from the cabin, no need for tours (with 2 small children that was our goal). The sauna was great and easy to set up. It's a 5min drive from Saariselka's centre, with lots of fun activities. We couldn't have asked for more! We plan to come back in a few years and would love to stay here again and for longer!

I can not recommend this place enough! There was some heavy snowfall on the morning we arrived, but the driveway to the apartment was shoveled so it was easy for us to access the property. On the day of arrival we recieved a message containing the code to the locker and a link to instruction videos; very helpful! The apartment itself is lovely; it really gives of that cozy log cabin feel, way more then the photos do. The apartment contained everything we needed; from all the kitchenware to a comfortable shower, a bed that was made, handtowels, a very easy-to-use sauna and even a dryer for your clothes. What the photos don’t really show is the amazing view you have from all the windows; on the front you have a great view on the woods and on the backside there is a few on an open terrain in between the woods. In the morning you might even spot some reindeers eating the bark from the trees. The communication with the owner was perfect; I had some questions about activities in Saariselkä and he was more then willing to advise us and responsed every time within a few days. I highly recommend this apartment for everyone who is looking for a cozy apartment that is close to Saariselkä (it’s an 8 minute drive).

Ilkka has been very kind, helping us to get the best experience for our holiday in Lapland. The apartment is very comfortable with lots of services: kitchen (with lots of tools to cook), bathroom (large and clean), private sauna (perfect after a whole day in the snow). The apartment position is perfect because it is only 10 minutes from Saariselkä (where there are supermarkets, coffee, resturants and shops) and it is also isolated from any light pollution: we were lucky to see the Northen Lights just outside the apartment!
