Hidden gem on the river with nice tents, warm showers and Cold beer

-Fantastic view over the river from the bar -Easy to reach from rundu (use the „border post“ for google maps, then follow the signs) -T-bone steak was delicious, portion for a man ;) -Everything was nice and clean

We had an elevated tent overlooking the Kovango river, needless to say a beautiful view. Though there is tents all around it is private and the comunal bathrooms where kept very clean. It was glam enough with nature still upmost. The bar area was a welcome visitspot without been intrusive and the owner and his assistant a wealth of info on the area and Angola on the opposite side of the river. Even braaiwood was supplied.

This very well located & maintained camp on the banks of the Kavango river is a pittoresque & affordable place. They even serve breakfast and dinner (the steaks are HUGE…!). We very much enjoyed our stay!
