We booked this place because of the room configuration, kitchen and parking but of course the bonus was the quiet, off the beaten track, glow worm walk, beautiful secluded lake, Communication about dinner/food etc was on point.

Out of season so no restaurant open, but we knew that and came prepared. We wanted a nice quiet place to stay and this was perfect. Mrs Taylor the receptionist was so helpful and went out of her way to show us around the hotel and give us the history of it.

Absolutely beautiful location. Great accommodation. Blended family of 5 who stayed in family room with garden view. So peaceful, and everyone loved the track to see the glowworms. We had two rooms, and each room had a double bed (huge double bed!!!) and single, fitted everyone nicely.
