Stunning building with beautiful large grounds and walking distance to central Rothenburg. Great breakfast and ample parking. Slipped on some steps in the rain and cut my elbow which required hospital treatment and met an "Angel" called Petra (I believe hotel manager) who not only treated me but organised taxis to hospital and to a GP appointment which she also arranged. Thank you Petra !

Not very often one can stay in a castle and this was the main reason for us to choose this hotel for a night. Absolutely stunning peace of architecture and beauty of the nature around it. Very gorgeous inside and outside. Short walking distance to Rothenburg

When you find a sign in your room in what is essentially a gothic castle, warning you about bats in the night, you know you've come to the right place. What an amazing hotel! This former Victorian era spa is a real treat, I wish we'd stayed longer.
