This Danhostel has an amazing view across the water & of the ruins of Kalø castle. We were fortunate to have the end room upstairs so we could open the door and admire the view. Danhostels are simple but clean with a good bathroom / shower. As a family of 4 we were all in bunks, which were very comfortable & quite fun. We used our own bedding as it was cheaper and we were on a tour so only stayed two nights. We paid for breakfast which was excellent & served in a room with a stunning view. There are plenty of communal sitting areas both inside & outside. I think for us British this can initially feel a bit unusual but it makes for a lovely, friendly atmosphere.

Very nice Hostel, friendly personell, very clean, very good kitchen facilities. Great view and good location for hiking in Mols Bjerge national park. Supermarkets and shops nearby.
