Everything was great from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by staff who were very friendly and helpful. Providing tourist information etc. the room was great, and the breakfast was fantastic

The breakfast is extraordinary, taking into account that it is not a hotel. They bring it to your room at a time of your choice between 08:00 and 10:00 and it includes many things. The hot sandwiches and toast for me are the best, as well as the yogurt. The stuffed croissants are not top quality but there is plenty of food and one day they also brought pancakes and another day sponge cake. There was a minifridge in the room with a bottle of water and a bottle of wine when we arrived, and there was also some fruit on the table.

Due to unavoidable delays, we arrived after their usual 09.00 pm at the latest check in. However, the lovely Davide was waiting outside the main doors to the courtyard, ready to welcome us, explain the many keys (!) and help us with our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs to our room (there is a small lift if needed). The location was very central, and yet our room was wonderfully quiet. The welcome gift of fresh fruit and a bottle of wine was appreciated. The room was well equipped, with a fridge, hairdryer, toiletries etc. We had access to a room along the end of our landing that had a kettle, coffee machine, microwave etc had we wished to use it (which we didn't need to). We had a very early start one morning, so the lovely housekeeper left pre-packed sandwiches, cakes and yogurts for us the day before, to take with us.

The staff: Oriana and the other lady who brought breakfast and cleaned up the room every day were great and hospitable, Oriana also helped suggest places to go, what to do or eat, it was wonderful. The facilities: Everything I think I would need from a stay besides a washer but it's all good. Mini-fridge, microwave, pantry, clean shower, and bed. Location: Conveniently close to everything I wanted to see with a metro nearby. Walking dist. to Colosseum was a plus as I needed to get there early. Noise: Heard a few bad reviews regarding the noise but was too tired to care, only notable noises was the mini fridge and shower from next door, not that bad.
