Excellent location, very easy to use as a base to move about the town. The staff was very helpfull, contacted us beforehand and adviced the buss to take from the airport to city. Extremely helpfull and polite at the reception. Ok breakfast; there was everything that there usually is, in this level of hotel, the breakfast kept us going well untill late lunch/dinner. Can leave luggage to wait in the luggage room, however it is not locked, you take your luggage in there and anyone can go in. Our room was a design room, it was cute, located at the street level.

9/10 – Rixwell Old Palace in Riga is a charming gem! Fantastic atmosphere, rooms full of character, and a location that makes sightseeing ridiculously easy. Only tiny hiccup was the parking—finding a spot felt like a mini treasure hunt, but nothing we couldn’t handle. Would gladly return here on our next Riga escapade!
