We had a wonderful stay at Ocean Terrace. The apartment was our little home from home as we spent two weeks exploring all that Sao Miguel has to offer. Ocean Terrace is a great location for exploring the island with so much within easy reach, only 20 mins from the airport, 10 mins walk to Santa Barbara beach and an easy 3 mins stroll to the supermarket and main streets of Ribeira Grande. Very comfortable and cosy with plenty of space to relax and recuperate after days filled with hiking, kayaking, horse riding and exploring.

Very big apartment in a new building. Lot of parking space in front of it. The terrace is huge, great for yoga amd other easy sports. There are shades om the windows so if you don't want the sunlight you can just adjust it. Wifi is great and the kitchen equipment is more than efficient. Carlos who welcomed us and gave us some tips for sightseeing was very nice and attentive. We loved the apartment and we will definitely come back. By the way the Santa Barbara beach is like 3 minutes away by car and 12 by foot. Supermarket is just around the block.

We stayed in spacious and modern two bedroom appartment. Each room had direct entrance to the really huge terrace with ocean view. Communication with owner was easy and there was quick response when needed. They also offered us to attend tours like whale watching etc. Beach was very close as well as some good restaurants and shop.
