- ⸻ Absolutely loved our stay! The location is unbeatable — right on the beach, making it perfect for sunset lovers. You get front-row seats to some of the most stunning sunsets we’ve ever seen. The terrace is a lovely spot to relax and take it all in. The room may be compact, but it’s smartly designed and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s excellent value for the money! The property is also conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and shops, so everything is within easy reach. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. Michael, the owner, was incredibly kind and accommodating — he waited for us during a late check-in and even offered a late checkout at noon, which we really appreciated. Bonus: there’s free parking right in front of the property, which made things even easier. Highly recommended

Really cool place. The staff is super friendly and helpful, showed us our room and helped carry our luggage. The room was nice with fantastic view to the beach. Everything you need is in the kitchenette. Bed was super comfy and the balcony was nice. Overall we will visit Star Apartments again for be sure. Rethymno old town is near, great little town, not too crowded. Beautiful city streets and lots of restaurants and giftshops.

The apartment is good, the bed is comfortable, there is a mini kitchen, perfect for making breakfast.
