Minimalist room excellent for an overnight stay. Bed is on the softerside. Little fridge and kettle, instant coffee, tea, 2 cups/spoon and 2 glasses. Lots of hooks and wardrobe for clothes.

I could live in the studio apartment. It’s right in the heart of the old village. The studio was set back 1 street from the front promenade (which makes it whisper quiet) but literally 1 minute to be on the waterfront. Stellios and Stavros were so welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help with whatever you need. I injured my knee at the beach and Stellios asked if I needed anything to help fix my knee or make it easier for me. He also called a taxi for me when it was time to leave.

The apartment plus terrace is spacious, very clean and well situated in the Old Town of Rhetymno. You have everything you need. The host is very nice and helpful and gave lots of good suggestions about shopping, food and main attractions in town. I recommend his suggestion on the food, a place called Babakoulis where you can find traditional cretan cuisine, delicious and at a very good price. For reaching Rhetymno Beach, it should take 15 minutes to walk, but the walk itself is very nice.
