Chrysa is an excellent host and the check-in process was simple, with key in a key lock at door. Retro51 has three outdoor areas, with the top one being excellent for sunbathing. The house has everything you need for a comfortable holiday.

Great location close to old town but far enough away to be quiet and calm. Nice terraces.

Location is excellent, right in the centre – within walking distance of everything, but quiet enough at night. Always found a place to park. The accommodation is next door to a very good restaurant, not that there’s a shortage of them in Rethymno. We made use of all three terraces, watching the world go by on the ground floor terrace, breakfast and drinks on the mid-terrace (very comfortable), and a roof terrace which is a real suntrap, but with shade if you need it, and a fridge on the top floor so not far to go for cold glass of wine! Although over 3 floors, a perfect (and romantic) hideaway for two people. Very well equipped, the owner has really thought of everything you could possibly need – with every utensil imaginable. The house is spotlessly clean everywhere, does Mrs Hinch live here we wondered 😊 Had a truly wonderful time here, couldn’t fault it, will return one day. Thank you so much.
