I am going to list this: 1) The host - Efi is just the sweetest host you could ask for. She was there to greet us when we arrived (we arrived past midnight), I have a 10mnth old and she not only provided a cot and playmat, she bought some of her child’s toys for my daughter to play with. she was always on hand if we needed anything and was absolutely the best host. She had brought us a fruit platter, a cake and water bottles when we arrived - all unexpected but appreciated 2) Location - we were in the old town and it was perfect. we were within walking distance of the old market and restaurants. We found many places to eat and the market was less than 10min walk. The apartment was on a main road but I did not hear any noise and falling asleep was not an issue. 3) Apartment - The apartment was clean and fully equipped. The living room was clean and spacious, the kitchen was stocked with cutlery, dinnerware, pots and pans. The balcony was ideal to sit and work from or just enjoy the Crete sunshine. The bedrooms were perfect and due to the AC in each room the perfect temp to sleep in. Bathroom was clean and a good size.
