A lovely villa and the beachside is lovely. The owner is very friendly as is Linda, the housekeeper. There are several excellent restaurants in very close walking distance from the villa - not cheap but stunning food.

Location: it was right on the beach, with a very quiet beach. Typically only a few people on the entire beach at ay one time. There was more than enough space in the villa, the patio, the garden, the pool and the beach, that the 6 of us could all have our own space. There were plenty of loungers, chairs and parasols so anyone could lie in the sun or the shade at any time. There were 4 restaurants within a 5 minute walk, with the whole of Rethymnon town only 5 minutes in the car. The town was very quaint with a historic fort and car-free 'old town'. Heraklion and Chania were both easy driving distance.

Beautifully equipped, spacious, the host was extremely welcoming and really helpful. She provided us with a fantastic starter pack of refreshments on arrival. The pool area was perfect.
