A very cute house that felt like you truly were a guest of the family. The breakfast was worthy of a lunch and our host was most lovely.

The building itself is fascinating as it is one of the oldest in Rataje. Each room had character and was a pleasant retreat from city life. I particularly liked waking up to the wooded hill outside my window. Lucie, the proprietor was kind and friendly. She was happy to have a conversation and makes a great breakfast! I also found the village bar a few doors up the street a great surprise. After hours of walking around, it was a great place to go and unwind. I watched the football and spoke to the locals who were all very friendly.

The host George was very welcoming and he prepared an amazing breakfast for us with fresh scrambled eggs and homemade pastry with fruit! We visited with a group of 10 girls and our rooms were all close to each other so it felt like we were all in an appartment. The style of the rooms was oldschool. We were doing a rafting weekend on the Sazava so if you don‘t want to camp this is a great alternative on the route.

The area. I loved it was far from everything. So quiet, so like în the movies. I like this hidden places. It reminds me of youth and childhood. Nearby a cosy little tavern, the breakfast was good, we sept really good.
