Great spot walking distance to Old Town. Staff were very friendly, especially Blanca who told us the indigenous meaning of the hotel and helped us with our tour booking and Pablo who was the chef in the restaurant when we had the most beautifully presented, tasty dinner. Breakfasts were superb.

Arriving at 2 am we received a warm welcome by the owner. For a group of 3 I booked a 2 room 3 bed unit . Beautiful Inca painting throughout the hotel made this place feel so special. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and eggs prepared per your request. Dinner is a must at this hotel. One of the best meals with ingredients common to indigenous Ecuadorians. All of the staff were so helpful and kind. Great experience.

Chakana Hotel Boutique Centro is a perfect starting point for exploring Quito. It’s ideally located, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars nearby — and the historic old town just around the corner. The metro is also just a few minutes’ walk away. As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly safe and well looked after. The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful in every way. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
