East Rock is a cosy studio tucked away from busy Queenstown, on Kelvin Heights. It was very peaceful and quiet and we could drive to the city centre in 20min. Very private, comfy and clean.

Very good value for money. Area was nice and quite. A little bit outside main Queenstown town, but manageable with a car. Bed was very comfy after long days of sightseeing.

Anna and her dad were delightful people and we had no problems getting access to the studio. Location was great for our purposes. Just 40m beyond the studio, you could access a trail that wrapped itself around the golf course, giving vistas of the mountain range, lake Wakatipu, and Queenstown itself on the other side of the lake. We walked for over two hours, taking lots of pictures given that it was a gorgeous day. There is a water taxi about 10 minutes away on foot but with a limited schedule that takes you to the town if you wish to leave your car at the studio and avoid the drive into town. Queenstown has a lot to offer including a gondola ride that gives you a superb view of the city below and the surrounding mountains. And there are lots of things to see not far from Queenstown.
