Ricardo was very accommodating and helpful. We gave an extra point for Mia the cat. The room was perfect for what we needed and a quick drive from JFK. Comfy bed and pillows. It was a short walk to the local bar and restaurant.

As a 20 year old girl travelling alone, this accommodation was very pleasant for a one-night stay and I felt safe. The host was very friendly and greeted me when I arrived and helped me carry my bags. I only saw him when I arrived and then not again. The apartment was lovely and clean and I was greeted by the cute kitty who was very friendly. The room was cosy and the bed was comfortable. The host also provided extra blankets in the closet with clean towels. The host thoughtfully provided snacks and water. There was also a mini fridge in the room and some hanging space in the cupboard. Communication with the host was very clear and easy. His responses were quick and helpful. He sent me all the relevant information before I arrived and also sent me details about travelling into Manhattan which was very helpful. Jamaica station was a $10 Uber ride away and a round trip to Penn station in the city was only $10. From JFK airport, a yellow taxi was $30. The private bathroom is just outside the bedroom and the host provided basic toiletries.

We had a great stay. The room is spacious & very clean. We were greated by the lovely cat Mia who loved to be petted. It's a bit far from the city centre but a 20 min. train ride gets you there for a very affordable price. Prior to arriving, the host sent me a message with several tips which helped a lot. Thank you for the pleasent stay Ricardo. If we ever visit New York again, we'll rebook this.
