The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that all guests are subject to a Marine Park Conservation fee upon arrival.
Boat transfers from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island run from 08:00 to 16:00 daily.
Boat transfers from Perhentian Island to Kuala Besut Jetty schedule: 08:00, 12:00 and 16:00.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

On arrival, the staff at Suhaila were welcoming and helpful. We checked in very quickly and felt relaxed from the beginning of our stay to the end. The rooms were clean - perfect for a stay at the Perhentians. The view from Suhaila will take your breath away. Thank you for an incredible stay! Wowed it was lovely.

Suhaila was so kind and caring! She welcomed us with tasty banana bread. She was genuinely interested in ensuring our stay was comfortable and positive. I unfortunately had food poisoning the first night from another place, and she gave me some medicine to help me, gave me fresh fruit, and checked on me to ensure I was getting better. I would recommend staying at Suhaila Palace. The internet was strong, even in the room. It was an excellent place to stay!
