We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs.

Fantastic location in the middle of the forrest. Monkeys playing above the terrace. Open house deliverring spectacular sounds of night forrest.

Liked hiking in, being off the road away from cars and trucks, the beauty and view of Ceiba, the bird and monkey visits, the night hike to see frogs.
