I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a quite start to a holiday, just what we were after The views were stunning!! The eco elements to this place were on point. It really felt like we were in a mix of jungle book meets the hobbit. Rooms were really well appointed if basic. Staff were super helpful and happy to arrange anything we wanted. The grounds were beautiful - we loved the jungle track and the walk down to the beach. It was a bit of a track but that was made very clear to us. The different scenery on the way down was pretty incredible. We loved all the wildlife- monkeys, birda, bugs, squirrels and our own resident giant Gecko. It was a very relaxing few days

It was a magical place to stay, the staff couldn't do enough, for example when we arrived there was a brief deluge of rain, we were met with umbrellas and such a warm welcome as our luggage was carried for us to our room. The accommodation is like any other 'jungle stays' on the island in that it was a large solid walled room/suite with more than enough space for our party of 4. The pool although chilly was a wonderful bonus especially after the trek back from the beach. The butterflies are incredible as were the plants growing in the jungle. Around us. Great cocktails from Mario too!

The location, looking out over Ulugan bay, was beautiful. We loved our bungalow with it's large verandah to relax on looking out over the rainforest and bay. We loved being amid the jungle wildlife. We loved the quietness of the venue. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The retreat organised a couple of local tours for us, both of which were absolutely wonderful. The food at the restaurant was good, without being great; but it was fun that the staff got to know our likes and dislikes.
